LexLadder is completely free for legal professionals. We do not charge you a membership fee to use the exchange or explore your market context.

Your consent, your control

Your profile is private by default. You decide when to apply, express interest or consent to a named introduction. No mass distribution.

You remain in control

Lex helps surface relevant opportunities and market context. It does not make career decisions, submit an application or reveal your full profile without your choice.

Opt out any time

You can withdraw consent from any communication channel — email, WhatsApp, SMS — at any time. Reply STOP to any message or email candidates@lexladder.ai.

LexLadder does not charge legal professionals a membership fee to use the exchange, access their market context or browse roles.
Profile sharing
Your choice
Your profile is private by default. You choose whether to apply, express interest or consent to a named introduction to a firm.
AI-assisted matching
No automated-only decisions
Lex surfaces relevant roles and explains match signals where practicable. It does not apply on your behalf or make a consequential career decision for you.
Communication channels
Email and in-platform notices
We use these channels for essential account, verification and role-related communications. You can manage marketing preferences at any time.
Stealth mode
Available in your account
Prevents your profile being surfaced to your current employer or any firm you designate. Activated from your candidate dashboard.
Firm controls
Available in your account
You can limit visibility or tell us which firms should not receive a named introduction from your profile.
Data retention
24 months post-last interaction
We retain your data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after your last meaningful interaction, then delete or anonymise it.
Account closure
Any time, no notice required
Close your account via the platform or by emailing candidates@lexladder.ai. Data deleted or anonymised within 30 days.
Governing law
England & Wales
These terms are governed by English law. You may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK or Ireland where you are domiciled.

Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Correction
Ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion
Request deletion of your data at any time.

Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
Objection
Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Withdraw consent
Withdraw consent for marketing or profile sharing at any time.
